Development first. Community centred. Partnership enabled.
The Eastern Agency is the public identity of TEA Eastern Agency Foundation Limited, a company limited by guarantee and registered non-governmental organisation in Uganda. TEA exists to organise practical responses to poverty, low productivity, limited access to services, weak market linkages, infrastructure gaps and barriers to opportunity.
The organisation combines community mobilisation with programme design, institutional coordination, technical partnerships and responsible resource mobilisation. Its identity remains fundamentally non-governmental and public-interest focused.

Vibrant, self-sustaining and progressive communities.
Communities that are productive, resilient, organised and able to access the knowledge, services, markets and opportunities required for lasting prosperity.
Turn development priorities into practical pathways.
Mobilise communities, strengthen capability, build partnerships and coordinate sustainable programmes that improve livelihoods and public wellbeing.
Rooted in Unity.
Unity is treated as a development asset: communities, institutions and partners achieve more when they work around shared priorities, accountability and common purpose.
The standards that guide our work.
Integrity
Transparent decisions, clear responsibilities and accountable use of resources.
Dignity
People are participants and partners in development, not passive recipients.
Responsibility
Programmes promote ownership, work ethic, stewardship and sustainability.
Partnership
We coordinate rather than duplicate the legitimate roles of communities, government and institutions.
Inclusion
Women, youth, vulnerable households and underserved communities should be able to participate meaningfully.
Evidence
Projects should be designed, costed, monitored and adapted using credible information.
Sustainability
Every intervention should consider maintenance, operating models, skills and long-term ownership.
Unity
We use shared development purpose to connect institutions, communities and partners.
Clear institutional responsibility.
Leadership information is presented separately from project claims so visitors can identify who governs and manages the organisation.
